Make a difference on behalf of the world’s oceans. Help support the Ocean Science Discovery Center of Maui. When you do, we’ll place your name on the Ocean Legacy Wall… a lasting tribute to how much you care about the marine environment.

Marine education is urgently needed in Hawaii, home to critically endangered marine species and vulnerable reef eco-systems. Our goal at the Ocean Science Discovery Center is to help residents and visitors understand this fascinating and fragile marine environment and their role in protecting it. Through engaging marine education programs presented in a dynamic learning environment, we help children and adults realize the joy of science and lifelong learning.

The Ocean Science Discovery Center overlooks Ma‘alaea Bay and features two Discovery Labs suitable for groups, meetings and classes of up to 100 people. These labs are equipped with an array of scientific equipment for student use (including microscopes, water test kits, and more) and a multi-media audio visual system. With your help, a new resource library and an Interpretive Center will be coming soon, which will be open daily to the public.

The Ocean Science Discovery Center is a project of Pacific Whale Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. Maui Ocean Center is the Founding Sponsor of the Ocean Science Discovery Center.
